This week art teachers Tracy Riemer from MacArthur Middle and Jacqueline Harmon from MacArthur High got to spend a couple days learning all about Universal Design for Learning in the Art classroom.
The class was part of the Oklahoma State Department of Education's Fine Arts Summer Academy, whose goal was to provide subject-specific professional development for Oklahoma Fine Arts educators.
We can't wait to see what they do in the coming year with their kiddos.

Our 3rd grade Makerspace Camp students took a trip to the Wildlife Refuge today! They learned how Native Americans used nature to design & build everything they needed. This trip reinforced what they are learning in the unit STEM without Borders during camp.
